Human touch in review and recovery

Human dimension in review and recovery ⚖ I am proud to share that my master thesis, entitled “Human dimension in review and recovery”, has been rated 8.0! 🎉 In my research, I have the unannotated ruling of April 18, 2024 by the Central Board of Appeals analysed and explained the new line of case law and its consequences. The new line is in line with the changed social views and insights about responsive government action and citizen perspective. Under the expert guidance of prof. mr. Rob Widdershoven, I investigated what this ruling means for citizens' legal protection. The ruling extended the possibility to waive the mandatory review and recovery of benefits unduly provided by applying general principles of good administration. In my thesis, I explain what the “old line” of the CRvB was, what criticism it led to (including from Attorney General De Bock) and how the new line should be understood. For those interested, I have attached my thesis below.Thank you to everyone who supported me during the process!
