Debts, debts, debts

What happens if you get a debt that you can't pay? The parents who are dealing with the allowance affair all know what this means. A first reminder already starts with that. With a visible logo of a bailiff's office. You open your mail (or you're afraid) and you're shocked. Your backlog has suddenly become a much larger backlog. And then you have to make a payment arrangement. What if you can't keep it? Then they will visit you at some point. Or you have to go to court. You get exploits through the mailbox. The neighbors see that the bailiffs come by with a map in hand. Very humiliating. And what should you say when your child asks, “Mom, what is that man actually doing here?” Did you do something? Because what are you crying for now, mom?
